Burbank Teacher Accused of Sex With Student
A 33-year-old is accused of having sex with a 14-year-old student.
A Burbank teacher has surrendered to police on suspicion of having sex with one of her students, police said Tuesday.
Burbank Unified District School teacher, Amy Beck, turned herself into police on Monday afternoon. The 33-year-old teacher was apparently overcome by guilt, Burbank police told the Los Angeles Times.
“She said she had sexual relations with one of her students,” said Burbank police Sgt. Robert Quesada.
Police interviewed the boy “and confirmed that the acts did occur” between March and September of last year, the sergeant said.
